It's ok. I got it in two dark colors. One is a little better than the other, but it was a bit patchy on my lips and made them seem dry when they weren't. I found wearing a balm or mask under them was a nice look, but then the color was not as rich. I do feel this is mainly because the colors are dark. I feel like a medium to nude shade wouldn't give the same trouble. Or else I would have rated it a bit lower. They make nice cheek stains too.
